Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Sales Operations to join our remote workforce. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the expansion of our business across national accounts, middle markets, small group markets, distribution channels, and specialty product sectors. You will work collaboratively with existing channels, broker-led initiatives, and plan sponsors to ensure optimal responses and outcomes through comprehensive capability analysis. Your primary objective will be to align with customer needs while facilitating informed decision-making in the healthcare domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop opportunities for sales support aimed at streamlining the sales process and measuring activity results.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Product Development, Operations, IT, and other relevant departments.
- Secure essential resources for the Sales Team and Account Managers to enhance the sales process.
- Oversee both internal and external communications related to the RFP (Request for Proposal) process.
- Determine necessary updates for RFP activities and ensure punctual execution.
- Align strategic initiatives with revenue and growth objectives.
- Drive efforts to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Support various functions including sales, marketing, and account management.
- Manage RFP/RFI responses through Salesforce.
- Monitor and analyze RFP success rates to refine strategies.
- Utilize Salesforce for reporting on performance metrics.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 7-10 years of experience in consumer-directed health and benefits.
- Strong analytical capabilities coupled with a proactive mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail and efficiency in task execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge), and Outlook.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills and a quick learner with the capacity to apply new concepts.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Healthcare is required.
