Position Overview:
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving all revenue-generating strategies and initiatives for VMAPA. This role is critical to the growth and sustainability of the organization, ensuring the success of our programs and operations. The CRO will identify and develop new revenue streams, oversee the project management and execution of these initiatives, and provide ongoing operational and administrative support for existing revenue sources, while also overseeing VMAPA's existing revenue streams, including Charity Bingo operations.
The CRO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain a diversified and sustainable revenue portfolio, helping the organization achieve its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Strategy & Development:
- Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive revenue strategy that aligns with VMAPA’s mission and long-term goals.
- Research, identify, and pursue new revenue-generating opportunities, including sponsorships, corporate partnerships, earned income streams, and grant funding.
- Collaborate with the Board and development team to drive major fundraising efforts such as annual campaigns, major gifts, and capital projects.
- Project Management & Execution:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans for new revenue initiatives, ensuring proper resourcing and timely execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to launch and scale new programs, while maintaining alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Track and report on the progress of revenue projects, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success.
- Bingo Operations Oversight:
- Provide executive oversight and operational support for VMAPA’s Bingo operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and ongoing growth.
- Work with Bingo management and staff to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor financial performance, streamline operational efficiencies, and implement best practices for long-term sustainability.
- Revenue Maintenance & Operations:
- Oversee the administration and operational support of all ongoing revenue streams, including bingo and fleet/transportation rentals, ensuring financial and operational integrity.
- Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to maintain accurate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for all revenue-generating activities.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements to maximize the effectiveness of revenue programs.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with key revenue stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
- Serve as the public face of VMAPA in revenue-focused engagements, representing the organization at events, meetings, and within the community.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the development and fundraising teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Work closely with marketing, and operations teams to ensure revenue-generating activities are integrated into the broader organizational strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in revenue growth, business development, fundraising, or related areas, preferably in a nonprofit or performing arts setting.
- Experience overseeing or managing revenue-driven operations, such as charity gaming, events, or large-scale fundraising efforts.
- Proven track record of successful revenue strategy development and execution.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from conception to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on relationship-building and strategic partnerships.
- Familiarity with financial management, budgeting, and reporting related to revenue streams and operational oversight.
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day tasks.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
