POSITION SUMMARY:
Omnicell Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Sales Operations team. The candidate will help the NA Growth organization increase sales effectiveness and efficiency by improving the business’s CRM experience. The candidate will support NA Growth strategies and objectives, through administration of our CRM, forecasting, process improvements, sales reporting and data analysis.
The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT/IS, Operations and Marketing to achieve organization goals.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with sales forecasting by utilizing the SalesForce.com reporting and other available data / systems
- Analyze and communicate the key metrics and drivers of Sales performance (against history, budget, forecast, strategic plan)
- Provide timely, relevant and accurate analysis of Sales performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan
- Analyze the key drivers and metrics vs. historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans and communicate results to leadership for decision support, plan reviews and operational reviews
- Lead and participate in CRM enhancement, customization, support and maintenance projects
- Work with Leadership, Analysts & SMEs to identify CRM enhancements and report requirements
- Assists with the design, development and implementation of CRM architecture to support business objectives
- Gather requirements for system implementations / enhancements and represent Sales’ needs
- Elicit requirements using interview, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis and task and workflow analysis
- Establish and implement standards and strategies for SalesForce.com data management, lifecycle and quality
- Continuously improve upon existing approaches by seeking new opportunities to creatively transform current business practices into fresh alternative solutions
- Improve productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in tools, training, processes, reporting and employee engagement
- Maintain a focus on continuous improvement in terms of customer satisfaction, Sales processes, and the tools for monitoring and reporting performance
- Gather information from the sales team and independent representatives to assist in forecasting
- Create executive level reports to support strategic sales direction or to support proposed changes to sales direction
- Utilize financial models that incorporate all relevant metrics and drivers of the business
- Communicate analytical results verbally, in writing and in presentation form to all levels of management
- Execute Sarbanes-Oxley policies related to Salesforce.com and strictly adhere to those policies
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Computer Science, Market Research, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in system administration, business intelligence, data analytics, sales support or related field.
- 1+ years of experience with SalesForce.com
Preferred Qualifications:
- SalesForce.com Certified Administrator: ADM-201 and/or ADM-301
- Experience in the healthcare industry
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- An understanding of complex business applications, data analysis, definition, design, logical modeling and relational databases
- A high threshold for ambiguity and lack of structured process during early phases of engagements
- Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action; naturally inquisitive; desire to continuously improve current business practices/processes
- Ability to translate customer requirements into specifications including complex business processes
- Demonstrates self-reliance in researching technical solutions and product functionality
- Effective verbal and written communications skills; effective presentation and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional team projects
- Business acumen including a good sense of how applications can be utilized to improve business processes and drive performance
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools Salesforce Einstein, Tableau and/or Qlik Sense
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes
- Ability to work independently:
- coordinate efforts with other members of analytics team
- interact with project stakeholders
- take responsibility for executing and delivering on time
- work with the team to design solutions and troubleshoot new issues
