Job Description Overview:
Renin is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill a Retail Account Manager position.
This position will work with Renin Account Managers and Sales team responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with Renin’s Big Box retail (Lowes), MRO, and COOP customers to drive sales and meet company goals.
In this role, you will work with external customers and Renin internal Sales and Operations teams to help coordinate key initiatives, drive key business strategies, engage in Line Reviews, Promotional Planning needs, and provide key analysis and analytic based support. You will need to establish strong relationships with the Key Decision Makers that will provide opportunities to grow sales and solidify Renin’s relationship with Key Accounts.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
The position includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- Manage product mix with concentration on correct assortment-based rate of sale, space planning, and store level execution including store execution.
- Achievement of Renin sales and profit targets.
- Develop and execute project plans to launch new innovative products lines and retail merchandising concepts and displays.
- Assist in managing sales, promotions, and marketing programs.
- Assist in creating professional presentations and business updates.
- Coordinate and manage customer issues and opportunities across customers.
- Collect/develop and analyze sales reports and market feedbacks from internal sources, data and customer POS to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Represent Renin in an upstanding professional manner.
Qualifications:
The job qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
- College degree in business, sales or marketing is preferred or equivalent industry experience;
- Strong computer proficiency, including Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint;
- Strong Project Management and time management skills.
- 3+ years general relevant experience in the Big Box retail industry, with experience calling on Home Depot, HD Supply, Lowes, or Orgill a plus.
- Demonstrated history of key account sales/business development success;
- Broad range of analytical skills; business statistics and quantitative decision-making;
- Excellent verbal and phone contact handling skills;
- Good organizational skills and attention to details;
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment and manage time effectively;
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environment;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all customers and leaders at all levels;
