The Chief Revenue Officer will play a pivotal role in driving our revenue growth, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and fostering a tech-forward culture. This individual will lead our sales, marketing, and business development efforts, ensuring alignment across departments to optimize performance, achieve revenue growth targets for multiple channels, and enhance market presence.

Onsite – Fort Worth, TX; 40% travel required.
Compensation
This position has a competitive compensation package that combines base salary plus a bonus potential of up to 40% of base salary.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue strategies that align with the company's vision and growth objectives
- Collaborate with the executive team to refine the company's overall business strategy
- Go-to-Market Strategy:
- Design and implement innovative go-to-market strategies to penetrate new geographic markets and industry segments
- Utilize market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing and product positioning
- Partner with Executive Leadership Partners to assess and pursue potential acquisition opportunities
- Compensation Strategy:
- Create and manage effective compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top sales and marketing talent
- Partner with Sales Enablement and IT Development teams to measure and drive performance, ensuring transparency in sales team compensation and regional sales goal progress
- Implement and manage necessary sales enablement resources, tools, and performance dashboards to analyze performance metrics aligned with revenue goals
- Marketing Leadership:
- Oversee the Marketing Director and team, including digital marketing, creative/branding, communications, events, marketing technology, and analytics
- Ensure a cohesive marketing strategy that leverages technology and data analytics to foster a productive partnership between sales and marketing teams, enhancing customer engagement and acquisition
- Sales Management:
- Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, achievement, and accountability
- Establish performance metrics and KPIs to track sales effectiveness and revenue growth
- Design and implement a robust, long-term sales organizational structure that effectively supports the company's expanding customer base and aligns with future revenue objectives
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, customer service, credit, operations, and marketing to ensure alignment and execution of revenue strategies
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to monitor market trends, customer behavior, and sales performance
- Adapt strategies based on insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Technology and Forecasting:
- Own the sales demand forecasting process, providing accurate and insightful regional sales forecasts
- Partner with sales enablement, marketing technology, and development teams to build robust sales performance and activity reporting
- Promote a tech-forward approach to integrate tools and platforms that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
Requirements
- MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience as a Chief Revenue Officer, EVP/VP of Sales, or similar role in the equipment rental or related industry
- Strong understanding of technology and data analytics trends and their application in sales and marketing
- Demonstrated expertise in developing successful go-to-market strategies with significant revenue-generating impact
- Extensive experience in compensation strategy and performance management
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of managing a minimum of $400M+ in annual revenue and achieving significant growth in a fast-paced environment, preferably on a national scale
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
