The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. Membership Portfolio Services is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. Each of the businesses within Membership Portfolio Services connect Card Members with Merchants - a key differentiator of our Membership Model - and which also represent a significant opportunity to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.
Amex Offers sits within the Membership Portfolio Services Team.
Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants, Advertisers and brands with the tens of millions of American Express Card Members across the globe. The Amex Offers team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver – through the Amex offers platform - unique differentiated value to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express. Through this solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs - delivering deep insights and maximizing results.
How will you make an impact in this role?
The
Analyst, Amex Offers Sales Operations will be responsible for supporting critical end-to-end Amex Offers sales operations activities. This individual will work closely with business development and customer success functions to execute operational activities, optimize processes and deliver internal solutions at scale in order to deliver a best-in-class Amex Offers experience for our Merchant Advertisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and refine execution calendars to support planning efforts (training calendars, live offer list, marketing email tracker, etc.)
- Manage onboarding tracking, logistics and live trainings for new hires
- Lead the testing and documentation of sales governance procedures and controls
- Source key training needs from the team and work with subject-matter experts to refine content and own delivery and logistics tailored to both sales and business development teams
- Own central mailbox and communications across the team
- Support campaign-related activities including ongoing maintenance of Insertion Orders, T&Cs and distribution of data sharing guidelines
- Support E2E process enhancements and improvements for Amex Offers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferred experience in media or sales operations, sales support or a related role
- Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best-in-class solutions at scale
- Ability and comfort with working independently on projects and business critical activities
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as high attention to detail
- Must be advanced in Excel and Powerpoint with an ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Strong quantitative skills and comfort analyzing data sets in order to generate insights that drive business performance
- Demonstrated success in leveraging data to develop growth strategies; Experience leveraging CRM platforms (i.e. SalesForce) to develop actionable sales tactics.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
