The Regional Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales and operations professionals to achieve sales targets, drive revenue, and ensure operational excellence in the Multi-Material (MM) division. This role will play a critical part in developing and implementing sales strategies, providing operations oversight, motivating the team, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The ultimate goal is to maximize sales performance, expand the customer base, and ensure the overall success of the MM division.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop comprehensive sales and operations oversight strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends, identify key opportunities, and set clear sales and operational targets for the team.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales and operations leaders to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to help team members improve their skills and achieve their full potential.
- Develop sales plans, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities.
- Monitor and track performance, identifying areas for improvement in both sales and operations, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met or exceeded.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts and overseeing the smooth operation of service delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue while maintaining operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate may reside in Florida or Ohio
- Extensive travel required, up to three weeks per month, visiting offices and distribution centers within the scope of responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field desired (or equivalent work experience).
- + 5 Years experience in a management role, ideally with experience in Operations/Supply Chain within a high-growth industry.
- 6 Sigma Blackbelt, LEAN, Industrial Engineering Professional Skills Certification, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interface with senior management and staff.
- Ability to operate as both an effective tactical and strategic thinker.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness, operations management, and project management principles and practices.
- Proven track record of success in facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
- Strong ability to develop, mentor, and coach team members.
