- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel

The AWS External Network Services (ENS) Finance team has an opening for a Finance Manager to support AWS, and more specifically its ENS business. This position will be part of the private deal desk team and will be responsible for evaluating and modeling custom deals for several ENS services and products. This position will work closely with key finance and business partners to drive private deal modeling, decision support, and controllership. In addition to private deal modeling, this role will help support new product pricing and new country launches by working with finance and business partners.
This role requires a self-starter with great modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with various business units across AWS and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, this role requires strong business sense and the capability to analyze complex problems and deliver results.
Key job responsibilities
- ENS Deal Desk
- Lead pricing / deal desk function across all ENS services to model and approve customized deals.
- Collaborate across the ENS team to enhance pricing models.
- Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the top line of the business.
- Coordinate and collaborate with teams to develop frameworks for automating key deal modeling processes.
- Gather, review, and communicate fact-based insights and trends.
A day in the life
You will partner with business and account teams to analyze, model, and obtain approval for private deal requests for ENS services. You will gather insights and make recommendations to your finance and business partners based on revenue and profitability metrics. You will also partner with product, capacity, and operations teams to understand key capacity opportunities and constraints.

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
