The role
As Head of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) at Ekco, you will establish and drive forward an Ekco Centre of Excellence focused on enhancing Sales Support, Reporting, Procurement, and Business Administration standards. This role is critical to ensuring continuous improvement across our offerings and fostering collaboration with sales, relationship management, and operational teams. You will define and promote consistent standards, develop training, manage knowledge, and champion operational excellence to support Ekco’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support, Reporting, and Business Administration
- Ensure the sales support team provides timely, accurate assistance to the sales and relationship management teams.
- Maintain reporting systems to track sales performance, billing, and finance queries accurately.
- Oversee the management of software licenses, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
2. Bid Coordination & Proposal Writing
- Manage the creation and submission of high-quality bids, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to compile winning proposal documents and maintain updated internal content repositories.
3. Procurement and Supplier Relationship Management
- Oversee procurement processes, including price negotiation and supplier onboarding.
- Ensure pricing models are competitive and aligned with business strategy, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Manage product changes and supplier rebates to ensure cost-effectiveness and value.
4. Knowledge and Training Management
- Define and promote standards (processes, templates, tools) across the CoE to enhance consistency in support delivery.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Maintain knowledge management resources to provide easy access to best practices, tools, and templates for the team.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 8+ years in a similar leadership role within an MSP, IT, or tech organization, with a focus on sales support, procurement, or business administration.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and process improvement.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to understand and anticipate client needs, delivering high-quality support.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong prioritization and time management abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
