Lead, direct and manage the performance of the Global Sales Organization including revenue achievement, business plan development, and provide the analytics to support office expansion into/towards strategically beneficial markets, vertical segment and accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and direct the daily strategic direction, support and guidance for all aspects of Global Sales, Travel Industry (corporate, consortia, leisure and international markets, and Group Segment.
- Develop well founded business objectives, goals and operating budgets by Global sales office and ensure execution and performance in line with designated targets
- Ensure the Global Sales team works to continuously promote the CoralTree Collection of hotels and resorts and serve as the Brand Champions within the travel agent industry, and group meetings and events segments.
- Develop GSO strategic accounts and publish them for the coming year. Deploy strategic selling solutions that provide a distinctive brand identity in the marketplace and position the CoralTree Collections’ competitive advantages as unique one of kind independent and chain properties, through direct sales and marketing efforts
- Continuously analyze and improve GSO reporting tools, resource information and business intelligence data to ensure optimum deployment against markets, territories and accounts. Work closely with manager of sales operations on BI tools, CVENT, Knowland an amaze.
- Negotiate favorable nations clauses with key strategic partners such as Helms Briscoe, AMEX, Chase, Conference Direct, and other industry firms.
- Provide actionable and measurable recommendations to address all needs and issues relating to global sales and marketing
- Lead and direct strategic account and vertical industry segment sales strategies to ensure the CoralTree Collection establishes preferred relationships and maximizes market share penetration into premium hospitality accounts
- Manage the coordination and execution for CoralTree Collections and the portfolio of properties for primary industry tradeshow representation, advisory councils, customer events and sales missions
- Continuously assess booking trends and identify emerging markets. Develop organizational deployment plans and actions to ensure optimization of revenue generating opportunities within travel industry, national, global, and regional group and meetings markets
- Maintain membership and or assume a leadership role in industry organizations to generate increased visibility for CoralTree Collection as appropriate
- Promote visibility and transparency of the GSO office to the properties to include productivity and activity of the individual offices.
- Work with all Affinity Team Leaders to develop selling strategies and account strategies among the property sellers in the field. Ensure your team is actively engaged vs participating in the Affinity groups.
- Continue to be an active seller in the luxury leisure space in 2025, and work on expanding the team in 2026 to include a director of luxury leisure sales that can help support year deployment.
- Recruit and train GSO sellers to be more business development oriented.
- Budgets -Forecast and manage investments to achieve business plan budgets. Maintain a fiduciary responsible to the GSO P&L to ensure efficiency and ROI on initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree to higher
- Must have 5 years of successful experience leading a team of sales managers in an above property role or Director of Sales & Marketing Experience at a large lifestyle hotel or resort
- A working knowledge of Delphi, Excel, Microsoft Word, Amaze, Power BI and other related property management systems.
- Ability to foster close and impactful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key constituents are SVP of Sales & Marketing, SVP of Operations (East and West), VP of Sales & Marketing, SVP of Revenue, Director of Distribution and VP of Marketing.
- Strong understanding of business tools, Agency 360, Cvent tools, Amaze, Power BI, Amadeus.
Salary range: $190,000 - $215,000/yr. + bonus
