Role Overview:
The Head of Sales will lead Sach Foods’ national sales efforts across retail, food service, and club channels, while also spearheading the launch of new products from concept to market. We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a bias for action, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This isn’t a typical 9-to-5 job—it’s a hands-on, dynamic role requiring a leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves, drive urgency, and build scalable systems without relying on traditional broker networks.
As a core member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future, directly influencing strategic decisions while driving execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee National Accounts: Manage and grow relationships with major retail, food service, and club accounts while identifying and closing new opportunities to drive revenue.
• Launch New Products: Take ownership of the entire product launch process—from concept to pricing, packaging, and distribution—ensuring success in all channels.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement actionable sales strategies tailored to each channel (retail, food service, and club), with a focus on scaling revenue sustainably.
• Build Partnerships: Develop deep relationships with customers and buyers while creating scalable strategies that don’t rely on broker networks.
• Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and insights to guide sales strategies, evaluate market trends, and measure success.
• Market Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of the Indian food category to position Sach Foods as a leader in the space while expanding into new markets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals and strategic initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial Execution: Operate with urgency and resourcefulness, identifying and solving challenges quickly to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Requirements:
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Hands-on leader with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience: 5-8 years of CPG sales experience with demonstrated success selling into national retail, food service, and club accounts.
• Product Launch Expertise: Experience taking products from concept to market, managing the full lifecycle without heavy reliance on brokers.
• Self-Starter: Ready to roll up your sleeves, work independently, and drive projects to completion with urgency and efficiency.
• Relationship Builder: Strong ability to cultivate and grow meaningful relationships with customers and distributors.
