Position Summary:
The Director of Revenue Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for aligning and optimizing the processes, tools, insights, and data across the entire customer journey to maximize revenue and drive operational efficiency. This role will ensure Kindsight's go-to-market strategy is data-driven, scalable, and designed to support ambitious growth targets.
With Kindsight’s position as a leader in nonprofit fundraising intelligence, the Director of Revenue Operations will play a pivotal role in enabling teams to serve enterprise customers like Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Berkeley, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee revenue operations strategy to align Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, ensuring operational efficiency and revenue growth.
- Own the revenue tech stack strategy, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and customer success platforms (e.g., Gainsight).
- Evaluate and implement tools to meet evolving business needs; optimize existing workflows.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting to track key revenue metrics.
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast revenue, set quotas, and monitor performance against targets.
- Partner with marketing to optimize scalable processes for lead generation, pipeline management, and customer lifecycle management.
- Monitor and analyze pipeline health, win rates, and deal velocity to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Guide cross-functional alignment to create a seamless customer experience and drive predictable revenue.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing Revenue Operations team, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to create actionable insights and strategies that optimize the customer journey.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer and revenue data.
- Drive Go-To-Market compensation strategy, metrics and rewards and help push performance.
What We're Looking For:
- 7+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or a related role in a SaaS environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Proven ability to establish scalable processes and systems in high-growth organizations.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Gainsight, and other primary tools like Salesloft and Gong
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize revenue tech stacks to support business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus
