Who You'll Work With
Reporting to the AVP of Revenue Growth Management, this role will have high visibility and impact, working closely with leadership to align operations with the company’s revenue goals.
The Revenue Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire sales organization. This position plays a key part in enabling revenue growth by optimizing sales processes, maintaining data integrity, ensuring accurate forecasting, and producing critical reporting. While the role does not include people management responsibilities, it acts as the operational backbone of the sales team, providing strategic insights and support across sales, marketing, and customer success.
What You'll Be Doing
Revenue Operations is integral to maximizing the potential of the sales organization. By overseeing the infrastructure of the sales process, including CRM management, revenue forecasting, commission plans, and reporting, Revenue Operations enables the sales team to focus on execution and customer engagement. Effective Revenue Operations drives efficiencies, supports strategic decision-making, and ensures that all team members have the tools and insights necessary to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Model & Forecasting:

Lead the revenue forecasting process by ensuring data accuracy and reliability within the CRM system.

Collaborate with sales leadership to produce accurate monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.

Set and track OKRs for revenue teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and performance metrics.

Oversee the budgeting process to ensure resources are allocated effectively to meet revenue targets.
Sales Operations & Commission Plans:

Design, implement, and manage sales commission plans, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and business objectives.

Generate and distribute accurate monthly and quarterly commission statements for the sales team.

Oversee the operations for sales, including budget planning, forecasting, and sales compensation, to ensure business objectives are met.

Continuously optimize sales operations for increased efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Optimize Revenue Processes:

Drive improvements in CRM maintenance and enhancements across the full sales cycle (pre-sale to post-sale, including renewals and pricing increases).

Implement and maintain sales tools and systems to improve sales velocity, accuracy, and forecast reliability.

Ensure sales processes are optimized for efficiency, from lead generation to contract renewal, enhancing the overall sales experience.

Increase sales velocity and forecast accuracy, ensuring timely and accurate pipeline management.
Data Analysis & Reporting:

Build and manage dashboards that track key sales metrics (e.g., deal velocity, conversion rates, pipeline health), offering actionable insights for leadership.

Use CRM data to drive reporting on KPIs, delivering strategic recommendations that enhance sales performance, optimize sales territories, and drive revenue growth.

Lead the creation of monthly and quarterly sales performance reports, highlighting trends, forecasts, and key insights for decision-making.

Leverage data to improve sales productivity, deal closure rates, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Trend, Win/Loss, and Competitive Analysis:

Conduct thorough trend analysis to identify market shifts, sales patterns, and potential areas for growth.

Lead win/loss analysis to understand factors influencing deal outcomes, providing actionable insights for refining sales strategies.

Perform competitive analysis to keep the sales organization informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market positioning.

Integrate findings from trend and competitive analysis into forecasting and sales processes to drive continuous improvements in overall sales performance.
Standard Contracts & Sales Enablement:

Manage and maintain standardized sales contracts to ensure they are current and accessible.

Support the development of sales enablement tools, including pitch decks, proposals, and presentations, using data and insights to tailor content for specific prospects.

Ensure the sales team is equipped with the right tools, training, and resources to optimize sales performance.

Maintain a focus on sales process improvement, ensuring that systems and tools are continually optimized for maximum efficiency.
Process Optimization:

Drive continuous improvement of sales processes, focusing on streamlining workflows and improving cross-departmental collaboration (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success).

Ensure that all sales-related systems and tools are optimized for maximum efficiency, ease of use, and data integrity.
Revenue Operations Core Functions:

Act as the liaison between Sales and Finance teams, ensuring accurate tracking of bookings, retention metrics, and revenue forecasts.

Ensure strict data hygiene standards are enforced within the CRM system and that it complies with relevant regulations (GDPR, CASL, etc.).

Support cross-functional projects to enhance the overall revenue operations framework, ensuring a seamless integration between sales, marketing, and finance.
What You Need to Be Successful

You have 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, with demonstrated success in supporting sales teams through process optimization and data management.

You are highly proficient in CRM management and have experience with sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, and optimizing commission plans.

You possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of how data drives strategic decisions in a sales organization.

You thrive in environments where you can develop structure and efficiency in workflows, enabling sales teams to maximize performance.

You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools, and a solid understanding of revenue management practices.
