JOB TITLE: CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER

Corpus Christi FC is a professional soccer organization affiliated with the United Soccer League (USL). The USL Championship and USL League One make up the largest professional men’s soccer league in the United States. Corpus Christi FC is based out of South Texas an untapped soccer hotbed of Texas with thousands of youth players and many thousands more supporting the game at all levels. Corpus Christi FC in partnership with Next Sports Company LLC is developing a 5,000-seat soccer specific-stadium as part of a world class multi-sports facility that will be ready by Summer 2025 for its inaugural season as a professional team in March 2026.
CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER (CRO)
The CRO will report to the President of Corpus Christi FC and its partner Next Sports Company LLC and is responsible for overseeing business development, sales growth and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the team including marketing/sales collateral materials and the hiring and supervision of sales staff employees. The primary objectives are to strengthen the teams brand to drive ticket sales and corporate sponsorship revenues while managing the financial and operational aspects of the organization. Responsibilities will also include but are not limited to development of corporate sponsorship and partnership acquisition strategies and promotion. This individual will work in tandem with ownership and its staff to execute the business plan.

Responsibilities:

Develop business and sales strategies to increase revenue.

Expand, prospect and generate new corporate partnerships through interaction in the community.

Assure compliance with all league requirements.

Plan, develop, and establish objectives and policies for the team in accordance with League directives and business charter.

Build a profitable organization through corporate partnership, events, promotions and ticket opportunities.

Interface with departments to assist in the development, implementation and analysis of marketing and sales campaigns.

Assist with development and execution of game day promotions and game presentation.

Assist with development and administration of customer retention programs.

Assist with development of programing for the organizations multi sports complex
Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
-
5-7 years of experience in a sales or marketing positions in sports

Experience in successfully developing and generating ticket and sponsorship revenues

A history of sales success and the ability to build and lead a sales driven and customer focused organization

Experience overseeing financial reports and budgets

Strong analytical skills and business acumen
