Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) - Tempo

Position Overview:
As the CRO of Tempo, you will lead our revenue generation strategies, ensuring that we achieve our ambitious growth targets. You will work closely with our executive team to align our sales, marketing, and customer success efforts, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive revenue growth strategies, with a focus on generating sponsorship revenue.
- Market Penetration: Identify and pursue new market opportunities, expanding our reach and establishing Tempo as a leader in social connection and event organization.
- Sales Leadership: Build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed.
- Customer Success: Oversee customer success efforts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.
- Partnerships and Alliances: Forge strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance our value proposition and drive revenue growth.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize sales and marketing efforts, and measure performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for the sales, marketing, and customer success teams, ensuring efficient use of resources and achieving financial goals.
- Public Representation: Represent Tempo at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements, enhancing our visibility and reputation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a senior revenue executive in a technology or event organization company, with a track record of driving substantial revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success in selling sponsorships.
- Reputation in the music and events industry with some name recognition, enhancing our credibility and market presence.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to leverage analytics to make informed decisions and optimize performance.
- Passion for social connection and event organization, with a deep understanding of the market and trends.
Compensation:
- A competitive starting salary of up to $250,000 upon initial funding, plus a variable performance-based bonus structure.
