Role Overview:
We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to oversee lead generation, client acquisition, business development, operational management, and strategic growth initiatives. You will manage day-to-day operations, client relations, new client acquisition, process improvement, and support strategic projects. This is a remote contract role with long-term potential for high performers.
Candidates must have 15+ years of senior-level experience at top-tier firms (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, Blackstone, Sequoia) within the management consulting, private equity, or venture capital industries.
Month 1 Evaluation Responsibilities:
In addition to ongoing responsibilities, Month 1 will focus solely on meeting a high-pressure objective:
- Close and secure cleared payment for at least one new client engagement with a minimum contract value of $50,000.
You will leverage SMG’s resources, tools, and CEO support to achieve this goal. Success will be determined by securing the contract and receiving cleared funds within the evaluation period.
Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Manage operational logistics for the CEO, including revenue-related task management, vendor coordination, and meeting scheduling.
- Drive client relations, business development, and growth strategy.
- Propose and implement process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Oversee revenue-related administrative and operational functions across the firm.
Compensation:
- Month 1 Evaluation: Success-based, capped at 15% of closed contracts (up to $7,500).
- Long-term opportunity based on performance.
