Punchcard is scaling, and 2025 will be a pivotal year for our business. To support this growth, we are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to join our team as Head of Growth. This role will focus on aligning sales, marketing, and client success functions to drive scalable and sustainable revenue growth.
The Head of Growth will actively participate in sales, strategy development, and execution, while also building the infrastructure and processes needed to scale our revenue operations. This includes implementing advanced tools, setting measurable goals, and developing automation strategies to optimize sales and marketing effectiveness.
Reporting to the Managing Partner, you will initially oversee the Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager, with the expectation that your team will grow as the company scales.
What we need you to do
Revenue Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy encompassing sales, marketing, and client success.
- Establish clear goals, targets, and KPIs to measure success and drive accountability across teams.
- Actively participate in sales processes, including prospecting, closing, and client retention efforts.
Consulting Expertise
- Leverage your experience in consulting services, particularly in software or technology development, to guide client discussions and align solutions with their business goals.
- Communicate effectively about software development concepts, including agile methodologies, sprints, technical complexity, and their impact on delivering measurable business value.
- Position Punchcard as a trusted advisor for clients, bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic outcomes.
Infrastructure and Process Development
- Implement and optimize technology solutions, including HubSpot and next-generation business development platforms, such as Apollo.io, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Seamless.ai.
- Build scalable systems for lead generation, sales pipeline management, and client onboarding.
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing Development
- Develop a robust sales engine by defining and refining sales processes, tools, and resources.
- Lead efforts to implement marketing automation and optimize campaigns for lead generation and nurturing.
- Support the Marketing Manager in designing strategies that align with business goals and drive brand awareness.
- To begin, this individual may have responsibilities to lead from the front, in order to drive targets and develop sales opportunities.
Team Leadership and Expansion
- Mentor and develop the Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager, setting the stage for future team growth.
- Recruit and onboard additional team members as needed to support scaling efforts.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use analytics to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement in revenue operations.
- Develop reporting frameworks to track progress against goals and provide actionable insights.
Innovate and Experiment
- Push the boundaries of what’s possible in marketing, sales, and client success by testing new ideas and iterating on results.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring fresh perspectives to the team.
What you bring to Punchcard
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or revenue operations, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Experience selling consulting services, particularly software or technology development projects, with a deep understanding of their nuances and complexities.
- Expertise in using CRM platforms, particularly HubSpot, and next-generation business development tools like Apollo.io, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Seamless.ai, Groove, and SalesLoft.
- Ability to communicate fluently about software development concepts, agile methodologies, and how they create business value.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated success in scaling sales or marketing teams and driving revenue growth.
- Experience in the technology, consulting, or digital transformation industries.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams.
