Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of scalable sales and marketing strategies tailored to drive growth in key verticals, including telecommunications, critical infrastructure, and renewable energy.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities and refine the company’s sales approach.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish sales quotas, budgets, and long-term goals.
- Champion cross-departmental collaboration to integrate sales and marketing efforts, ensuring a unified approach to growth.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their technical and operational needs to recommend optimal solutions.
- Lead customer negotiations, manage complex deals, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and company offerings.
- Develop strategic partnerships to expand market presence and strengthen customer loyalty.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, mentor and develop a high-performing sales team while setting clear expectations and providing constructive feedback
- Define sales territories, monitor performance, and implement strategies to inspire and guide a team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented culture that drives innovation and customer satisfaction.
Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new verticals and geographies for company's products.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to ensure product development aligns with future market demands and emerging trends.
- Represent company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand recognition and establish industry thought leadership.
Operational Excellence
- Monitor and analyze sales and operational data to project revenue, assess profitability, and identify emerging opportunities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
- Address and resolve customer issues proactively through structured processes that maintain trust and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading sales teams in complex technology sales or consultancy environments, with at least five years in a senior sales leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of telecommunications, renewable energy, UPS systems, or critical infrastructure power solutions.
- Engineering or technical background is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, managing strategic client relationships, and expanding into new markets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to successfully motivate others to take action by building trust, presenting compelling arguments, and welcoming different perspectives.
- Skilled in using data and analytics to drive decision-making and sales strategy.
- A motivational leader with a collaborative approach and a track record of team development and success.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Education:
- Bachelor's; MBA (Preferred)
Experience:
- Sales: 7+ years
- Sales Management: 3+ years
- Energy: 3+ years – specifically renewable (Preferred)
- Telecommunication: 3+ years (Preferred)
