As the Manager of Global Inbound Sales Development, you will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for converting inbound leads into qualified opportunities for Vimeo’s sales teams. This role is critical to the success of Vimeo’s pipeline, requiring a data-driven leader who can foster a high-performance culture, improve conversion rates, and drive predictable pipeline growth.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the SDR team, setting and achieving ambitious goals, and ensuring the team delivers an exceptional experience to prospective customers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the SDR team to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual performance targets.
- Establish clear performance metrics, including activity levels, response rates, and lead-to-close conversion rates, and ensure the team is held accountable to them.
- Monitor and analyze team performance to identify blockers, improve efficiency, and refine workflows to drive higher conversion rates.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of new SDRs to build a scalable, high-performing team.
- Provide hands-on coaching and development through call shadowing, role-playing, and one-on-one feedback sessions.
- Deliver ongoing training on prospecting techniques, lead qualification best practices, and the use of tools and technologies.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, empowering team members to perform at their best while supporting their professional growth.
- Partner closely with Marketing to align on campaign goals, ensure lead quality, and provide feedback on lead performance.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to maintain clean data, improve workflows, and forecast potential pipeline gaps.
- Report on pipeline metrics and team performance, providing actionable insights to leadership.
Skills and knowledge you possess:
- 4+ years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or demand development roles.
- 2+ years of experience managing an SDR team.
- Proven ability to drive team performance and improve conversion rates through coaching, process optimization, and collaboration.
- Strong familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce and sales engagement tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, or Gong.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a focus on team development and building a culture of accountability and inclusivity.
- Experience in hiring, onboarding, and scaling sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of making data-driven decisions to optimize workflows and team performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
- Experience in SaaS sales or a related field, with an interest in online video or creative industries a plus.
Base Salary Range:
- NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $83,000 - $115,000
This role also includes on-target commissions in addition to base salary.
