Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our mid-sized company. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and is equally comfortable with strategic financial planning and day-to-day accounting operations. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of the company while ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of daily financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:

Develop and implement short- and long-term financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to drive informed decision-making.
Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability

Day-to-Day Accounting Operations:

Manage and oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
Reconcile income and expenses, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and operations, to align financial goals with overall business objectives

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the executive team, board of directors, and regulatory bodies

Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
Experience: Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within a mid-sized company.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
