Fresh Start Education, an Australian-owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO #45237), is seeking an experienced and motivated Industry Engagement & Business Support Officer to support our Building & Construction training operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within the industry, supporting students and trainers, and contributing to high-quality vocational education outcomes.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role combining industry engagement, employer liaison, and RTO administration. You will work closely with management, trainers, and students to support compliance, service delivery, and industry partnerships.

Key Duties

Build and maintain strong relationships with construction industry employers
Act as a key contact for industry partners and stakeholders
Coordinate industry engagement activities and meetings
Promote training products and workforce development initiatives
Provide administrative support across enrolments, scheduling, and student records
Maintain compliant training documentation and data
Support ASQA, USI, and AVETMISS requirements
Assist trainers and assessors with administration and logistics
Manage phone and email enquiries professionally

Skills & Experience

Strong communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Customer-focused, professional approach

Desirable:

Experience in an RTO or VET environment
Knowledge of the Building & Construction industry
Experience with marketing or engagement activities

Pay: $59,095.49 – $80,000.00 per year
