We are currently looking for an accomplished and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and take charge of all financial aspects of our motel operation. The CFO will be a pivotal figure in defining our financial strategy, enhancing profitability, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role is tailored for a dedicated professional who has extensive financial experience in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy Development: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies that not only align with our organizational goals but also foster sustainable growth.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the holistic budgeting process for the motel, crafting precise forecasts that will guide financial performance and support decision-making.
Advanced Financial Reporting: Generate thorough financial statements and reports, presenting findings and insights to the management team and stakeholders.
Revenue Optimization and Strategy: Collaborate with the management team to develop innovative pricing and revenue management strategies based on market trends.
Cost Management and Efficiency: Supervise the management of operational costs, payroll, and capital expenditures, and implement strategies for operational efficacy.
Compliance with Financial Regulations: Ensure compliance with all financial laws and standards, including tax obligations.
Risk Management and Mitigation: Conduct risk analysis and develop effective risk management strategies to shield the organization from financial uncertainties.
Payroll and Compensation Oversight: Oversee payroll systems and ensure labor law compliance, maintaining accurate and timely payroll processes.
Vendor Relations and Contract Negotiations: Manage financial vendor relationships, engaging in negotiations to secure favorable terms.
Internal Financial Controls: Create and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard assets and validate financial accuracy.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead the finance team, nurturing talent through mentorship and fostering a results-oriented culture.

Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline is mandatory. A Masters degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years in senior financial leadership roles, with relevant experience in the hospitality sector being advantageous.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of financial practices, financial reporting, and budgeting; expertise in risk management and financial forecasting.
Leadership: Proven leadership ability, with experience building and developing high-performance teams.
Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, tax codes, and compliance requirements.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with financial software, payroll systems, and analytical tools.
