ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
Sporting News is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of advertising operations on a global scale. In this role, you'll oversee advertising operations, ensuring seamless ad placement, performance tracking, and partner accountability. You'll optimize campaigns, support revenue growth, and provide data-driven insights on ad performance and audience engagement. Additionally, you'll analyze industry trends to identify opportunities and drive strategic decision-making.
This a hybrid role, based in London, reporting to our SVP, Media.
HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOU’LL (PRIMARILY) DO
- Advertising Operations: Oversee all aspects of advertising operations, including ad placement, ad trafficking, and performance tracking, ensuring on-time delivery and holding partners accountable to delivery specifications
- Partner Management: Collaborate with partners to optimize ad campaigns and maximize revenue.
- Revenue Generation: Supporting the sales team you will develop and execute supporting revenue generation strategies, through partner management, third-party vendors, yield management, and optimization of campaigns.
- Revenue Management: Monitor and oversee reporting of the performance of the betting and affiliate teams, offering optimization strategies and
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on revenue performance, audience engagement, and advertising effectiveness to senior management.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats.
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?
- Thorough experience in Google Ad Manager, Salesforce, and advertising technologies critical.
- Proven track record in digital media or related industries, with at least 2 years of experience in commercial operations or a similar role.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting.
- Strong understanding of the sports media landscape, including digital platforms and advertising trends.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
