Role : Sales Operations Specialist – Business Insights
About the Role:
We are seeking a Revenue/Marketing/Sales Operations Specialist – Business Insights to support our sales team with data-driven strategies, process optimization, and technology enhancements. This role will focus on improving sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and operational efficiency, ensuring the sales team operates at peak productivity. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to drive scalable growth and revenue predictability.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Process Optimization & Performance Management:
- Design, implement, and improve sales processes to maximize efficiency and conversion rates.
- Identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and provide actionable recommendations.
- Ensure smooth handoffs between SDRs, AEs, and Customer Success.
- Optimize lead routing, pipeline management, and territory planning.
Sales Analytics & Business Insights:
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key sales metrics (pipeline velocity, win rates, conversion rates, quota attainment, etc.).
- Provide real-time insights on sales performance to support leadership decisions.
- Analyze deal cycle times, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
Forecasting & Sales Planning:
- Own the sales forecasting process, ensuring accuracy in revenue projections.
- Support sales leaders with data-backed recommendations on team productivity and efficiency.
CRM & Sales Technology Management:
- Manage and optimize Salesforce to improve sales workflows.
- Ensure CRM data integrity and automation for accurate reporting.
- Evaluate and implement sales tech stack improvements
- Automate reporting, data enrichment, and sales tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to align revenue goals.
- Work with Marketing to analyze lead-to-opportunity conversion rates and campaign effectiveness.
- Support sales enablement with insights on rep performance and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, Revenue Operations, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, quota management, and pipeline dynamics.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar CRM and sales tools.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with SQL, Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience with sales forecasting models and data automation.
