Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the organisation, ensuring robust financial management and reporting, and driving sustainable growth. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional management skills who can effectively communicate financial insights to stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining the integrity of financial data.
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyse market trends and economic conditions to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement across the organisation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial management role within a similar industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strategic mindset to drive business performance.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred but not essential.
