Known for operational excellence, our client is an international employer of choice. As the company continues its growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions, they are seeking a visionary and operationally focused CFO to guide their financial strategy during this period of transformation and into the future.
This role, reporting directly to the CEO, will be a key member of the executive team, collaborating with senior leadership to drive strategic growth, optimize financial processes, enhance profitability and operational efficiency. The CFO will play a crucial part in shaping the company’s future, ensuring long-term success and sustainable growth while leading a high-performing finance team.
Key responsibilities include overseeing financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while working closely with the CEO and leadership team to make data-driven decisions that support both financial and operational success.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented finance executive with extensive experience in a multi-national environment. A background in industrial sectors such as construction, engineering, mining, energy, infrastructure, or large industrial equipment is preferred. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced organizations, coupled with the ability to thrive in both strategic and operational roles, is essential. A professional accounting designation and expertise in IFRS, financial operations, and data analytics are required.
Compensation:
• Base salary: $200,000 to $300,000, plus attractive performance-based bonus, a comprehensive benefits package as well as Group RRSP Plan, and Company Shares Purchase Plan.
• Hybrid work schedule: Minimum of 2-3 days per week in Burnaby head office.
