Reporting Directly To The Chief Operating Officer The Vice President, Business Operations Will Support With Management Of Our Self Storage Operations, And Special Projects In Relation Thereto. This Includes, But Is Not Limited To
- Assess operational effectiveness and identify high-impact opportunities for improvement in customer service, marketing effectiveness, and alignment across all self-storage facilities
- Support with the oversight of the financial performance of our self-storage portfolio, including budget development, execution of financial plans, profit and loss management, and control of operating costs.
- Develop and manage financial strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency, directly related to self-storage.
- Lead ongoing analysis and refinement of our self-storage operations to support the growth trajectory, specifically though developing and implementing strategies that adapt to marketing changes and drive continuous improvement in our property management and customer service.
- Utilize data and analytics, to provide insights and recommendations to support in the optimization of self storage operational processes.
- Prepare and present content and visual components for presentations to stakeholders, including executive leadership and investors, focusing on the performance of our self-storage assets.
- Lead special projects, directly related to self storage operations and performance optimization, as required.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED?
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale corporate and operations teams in the Self Storage Industry, including developing and managing budgets, creating, and executing short- and long-term business strategies and tactics.
- A Graduate Degree with a concentration in Business or related field.
- Strong background in Self-Storage organizations, specifically growth, scaling, and setting operational standards.
- Proven ability to think critically and strategically to see and address issues and opportunities before they happen.
- Excellent leadership and both in-person and written communication skills with the ability to influence upwards to senior management, laterally to functional peers, field management and international counterparts, and downstream to support and operational personnel.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools as well as excellent oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
- Willing and able to travel internationally as required
