Position Title-Assistant Director- Revenue Operations
Location - Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities
Lead the global revenue team in ensuring the business is reflecting accurate revenue recognition on a monthly basis, and be the ultimate owner of global revenue process.
The role will require the role holder to liaise with other members of the finance team, as well as delivery team members to ensure timely, robust revenue recognition with appropriate MI insights provided, and to support financial planning processes; budget and forecasting. All this while ensuring strong focus on optimizing internal team processes and controls environment, and supporting and developing the revenue team members.
Review, oversight and supervision of monthly, quarterly and year-end book closing in timely and accurate manner for Revenue and AR accounts as per compliance with local GAAP and IFRS, ensuring no revenue leakage for the business
- Management reporting and MIS insights provided on a timely basis each month
- Responsibility for timely closing internal and external audits
- Reviewing and publishing monthly schedules for Revenue and AR related accounts
- Revenue forecasting and budgeting support along with variance analysis
- Provide thought leadership to continuous improvement approach to revenue recognition processes and adapt as per changing regulations/requirements.
- Ensure robust control framework for revenue recognition/other related processes
- Provide inputs to contract commercial management team for drafting of newly contracts as applicable to ensure no revenue recognition challenges post execution
- Manage Cash Application process and Bad Debt write offs
- Manage, coach and mentor the tea
Key Competencies:

- Knowledge of ERP accounting software & Good in MS Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to coordinate and interact effectively with Senior management
- Ability to lead small teams with coaching/mentoring skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional situations, both within finance and wider.
