Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for all projects.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors based on financial analysis and projections.
- Financial Operations and Management:
- Manage all accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Capital Management and Fundraising:
- Oversee capital structure and manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Lead efforts in securing financing for new projects, including debt and equity financing.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
- Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks related to real estate development and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
- Coordinate audits and work closely with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CA preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate industry.
- Proven track record of managing financial operations for residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Strong understanding of real estate financing, investment analysis, and capital markets.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems
