Overview
Intuit is looking for a Principal for Business Operations to serve as a critical strategic and operational partner for our Mid-Market GTM organization. This person will help the Mid-Market PMM leaders operate with scale, velocity, and rigor by driving operating rhythms, planning processes, cross-functional problem solving, and strategic initiative execution. They will partner across functions to improve business efficiency, unlock operational scale, and solve complex business problems using data, structured thinking, and clear narratives.
Responsibilities
- Drive the business operating rhythm from design through execution and management
- Lead planning processes and help define goals that support business and revenue outcomes
- Identify operational gaps and develop scalable processes, tools, and capabilities that improve efficiency
- Solve high-priority business problems using structured analysis, data, and executive-ready recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally with business leaders, product, tech, finance, analytics, and operations teams to align on priorities and execution
- Lead strategic initiatives with end-to-end ownership, including tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Build reports and mechanisms that improve visibility into operational performance and decision-making
- Translate complex findings into clear narratives and recommendations for leadership audiences
Qualifications
- "8 to 12+ years of experience in business strategy, business operations, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, or a related field, ideally within a high growth or matrixed environment.
- Experience directly advising senior executives and supporting complex, high-stakes business decisions.
- Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of complex, sometimes messy information into clear insights and recommendations leaders can act on.
- Strong business judgment, with an intuitive grasp of how strategy, operations, financial performance, and execution connect.
- Experience designing or improving executive operating rhythms, planning processes, or performance management systems.
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and complexity into a clear point of view, challenge constructively, and establish structure and sequence where little currently exists.
- Executive level written and verbal communication. You can walk into a room with a VP and leave with a decision.
- Genuine curiosity about small businesses and how QuickBooks can make their lives easier. This work only matters if you care who it is for.
- FinTech, SaaS, or small business software experience is a plus, not a requirement"
