We are working with a dynamic, mid-cap Private Equity-backed Financial Services company experiencing significant growth. As they scale, they are seeking a CFO to provide financial leadership, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making during this crucial phase of expansion.
This is a high-impact role within a fast-moving, commercially driven environment. As CFO, you will be a key strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team, ensuring the financial function is robust, efficient, and aligned with the company’s ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead financial strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Implement strong financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Drive operational efficiencies and support key business decisions with data-driven insights.
- Manage relationships with investors, auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee capital management, fundraising, and M&A activities where applicable.
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team to support ongoing expansion.
The Ideal Candidate
- ACA Qualified Accountant with extensive leadership experience in Financial Services.
- Strong track record in high-growth, Private Equity-backed businesses.
- Deep understanding of financial controls, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
- Commercially astute with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A confident, hands-on leader with excellent stakeholder management abilities.
