We are partnering with a dynamic Private Equity-backed business services company operating in a multi-site environment.
The business is entering a critical phase of its investment cycle and are seeking a commercially focused CFO to lead the finance function, drive value creation and act as a key partner to the CEO and investors.
This is a high impact role requiring a hands on, operationally engaged finance leader who can balance strategic oversight with execution in a fast paced services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial strategy to support a buy-and-build agenda and maximise value ahead of exit.
- Build and scale a high-performing finance function aligned to growth and integration needs.
- Partner with the CEO and PE sponsors to deliver the investment thesis, including M&A execution and integration.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management across a multi-site, operationally complex business.
- Drive performance visibility through robust MI, KPIs, and data led decision-making.
- Implement and enhance financial controls, governance, and reporting to institutional standards.
- Lead all aspects of transaction readiness, including vendor due diligence and exit execution.
- Optimise working capital and operational efficiency across the business.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven CFO or Divisional CFO experience within a PE-backed, business services environment.
- Demonstrable track record of executing a successful exit within a Private Equity setting.
- Strong buy-and-build experience, including acquisition execution and post-deal integration.
- Highly commercial, with the ability to operate close to operations in a multi-site, labour-intensive business.
- Experienced in working with PE stakeholders, lenders, and advisors.
- Hands-on, pragmatic leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
