Fractional Chief Financial Officer

Acuity Associates is supporting an ambitious UK business seeking to appoint an experienced Fractional Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership during an exciting period of growth.
Working closely with the Board and senior leadership team, you'll provide commercial insight, shape financial strategy and help position the business for its next stage of development. An established finance team is already in place, allowing you to focus on strategic leadership, business partnering and long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Board and senior leadership team to shape business strategy.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Support business growth, investment decisions and value creation initiatives.
- Oversee financial performance, reporting and governance.
- Provide strategic oversight of cash flow, funding and financial risk.
- Build strong relationships with shareholders, investors and external advisers.
- Support strategic projects, including business planning and future transaction readiness.
- Mentor and support the senior finance team.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous CFO, Finance Director or Fractional CFO experience.
- Has a strong commercial and strategic finance background.
- Has experience partnering with Boards, CEOs and senior stakeholders.
- Can influence decision-making through financial insight.
- Has experience supporting business growth and strategic change.
- Is an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Enjoys working collaboratively within ambitious, growing businesses.
