Platform hosts a comprehensive suite of Apps converging Advertising, Marketing and Demand Planning needs of 1000s of Merchants and Sales Channel Partners for Retailers and Brands respectively. The world of co-op marketing, while being 100+ years old and a $150+ Billion industry as of 2019, is riddled with elementary, archaic and fragmented processes (sometimes non-existent).
The Role:
The role involves highly driven and strategic VP of Business Operations & Finance to oversee and
optimize our company's daily operations, drive financial and business alignment, and execute our
long-term vision. This role will take ownership of Finance (including Investor Relations), Revenue
Operations, People & Culture and driving cross-function Business Strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Operations & Business Performance:
● Lead internal business reviews (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to track progress.
● Ensure data-driven decision-making through dashboards & analytics.
● Improve operational processes to enhance revenue growth and profitability.
2. Finance & Investor Relations:
● Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
● Ensure financial discipline, compliance, and capital efficiency.
● Own investor relations, including stakeholder updates and fundraising support.
● Analyze financial performance and recommend strategic improvements.
3. Strategic & Business Operations:
● Lead key commercial negotiations with clients and partners.
● Drive key initiatives across departments to align with company goals.
● Define policies, frameworks, and governance structures to streamline decision-making.
● Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and improvements.
4. People & Culture Leadership:
● Co-ownership of building a high-performance culture along with the HR team.
● Shape talent acquisition, retention, and development strategies.
● Oversee leadership development, succession planning, and organizational design.
● Align incentive structures with business objectives to drive performance.
Skills Required:
- 10+ years of leadership experience in operations, finance, strategy, or revenue management within a high-growth environment.
- Proven track record in scaling businesses and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen, understanding of investor relations, and strategic execution.
- Experience in managing P&L, operational efficiency, and business transformation.
- A hands-on leader who can balance strategy with execution.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
