The Chief Financial Officer reports to the CEO and Board of Directors and is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of Sunrider’s global operations in the retail and network marketing divisions, hotel division, manufacturing, and global real estate and market investments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and management of the domestic and international finance and accounting, internal audit, and tax teams in all business divisions (retail and network marketing, hotels, manufacturing, and global real estate and market investments).
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team.
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Keep abreast of all financial regulatory concerns in various markets and maintain compliance and best practices.
- Oversee the proper development of budgets, internal and external audits, tax planning, investment review and monitoring, and other operational areas in need of improvement.
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses and make necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- In conjunction with the CEO and wealth advisors, develop and implement a financial plan, including investment strategies, product mix and positioning, pricing, and development plan.
- Study long-range economic trends and project their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
- Participate in industry associations and establish good relations with relevant government authorities.
- Manage, train, and coach staff in accordance with corporate policies and motivate employees to reach their full potential.
- Protect company’s assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Seek and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Travel as requested by CEO for region and country reviews, to hold training meetings, or to attend events.
- Ensure integrity in all aspects of the business operations, the highest standards of corporate governance, and transparency in business dealings and company operation.
- Meet goals through strategic planning and collaboration.
*Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees projects and assignments within the Finance, Tax, and Internal Audit departments.
- Leads efficient operation of the finance team.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for direct reports.

Education and/or Experience
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
- Certified Public Accountant designation.
- 15+ years' experience in the finance industry and managing a team is a must – with examples of when they have demonstrated excellence in the workplace.
- Experience working with multinational companies in a managerial role and extensive knowledge of global markets. APAC and North America experience preferred.
- 3+ years managerial experience working in the network marketing/direct selling industry.
- 3+ years managerial experience working in the manufacturing industry.
