The Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Go-to-Market (GTM) to lead and execute our GTM initiatives in North America based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada reporting to the Group COO. As a senior leader in the business, you will be responsible for defining the strategy, optimizing execution, and driving business growth by delivering exceptional customer experiences with a focus on accelerating revenue, retention, and customer success. You will be expected to be hands-on in execution, not just defining the strategy, but actively driving and implementing GTM initiatives.
What you Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, customer strategy, or related fields, with a strong track record in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in launching and scaling products in dynamic and competitive markets.
- Expertise in developing and executing data-driven GTM strategies that drive revenue growth, customer success, and retention.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholders, including executives, product teams, and sales organizations.
- Deep understanding of customer segmentation, buyer personas, and the customer journey.
- Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably in SaaS, technology, or B2B industries.
Your Day to Day:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution of GTM initiatives.
- Define customer segmentation, positioning, and value propositions to optimize market penetration and customer adoption.
- Drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
- Establish and implement frameworks for pricing, packaging, and sales enablement to maximize customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Partner with product management to influence roadmap prioritization based on customer and market feedback.
- Implement metrics and KPIs to track performance, measure impact, and iterate on GTM strategies.
- Drive execution of customer success strategies to enhance customer engagement, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value.
- Develop initiatives to enhance customer retention through proactive engagement, value realization, and success planning.
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that customer insights are embedded in all strategic initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering GTM excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue optimization.
- Take a hands-on approach in executing GTM strategies, working directly with teams to implement initiatives and optimize outcomes.
- Manage and nurture key brand relationships to drive strategic partnerships and enhance market positioning.
- Drive and establish direct and indirect distribution channels to optimize market reach, sales performance, and customer accessibility.
