Wire-Bond, a family-owned wire manufacturing company headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO has overall responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation and managing of all the finance activities.

Job Responsibilities:

· Development of policies and procedures to ensure the proper functioning of the accounting department and the financial health of the company

· Manage AR, AP, Payroll processing, financial analysis, etc.

· Review the preparation of accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements and reports

· Coordinate with CPA firm for annual audit and tax returns

· Offer advice and strategic financial perspective on business development, growth and performance

· Lead and develop accounting, IT and administrative staff

· Ensure effective internal controls are maintained to protect company assets

· Responsible for annual general insurance and employee benefit renewals

· Direct the administration of the company 401K plan

· Maintain established relationships with financial institutions and develop others as necessary

Qualifications:

· BA in Accounting

· Active CPA license required

· Manufacturing experience required

· Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required

· Strong cost accounting knowledge preferred

· Advanced communication skills

· 20+ years of experience

Physical Requirements:

· Position requires the ability to sit at a desk with occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching and stooping to accurately verify inventory levels

· May be exposed to heat and cold when it is necessary to work in the warehouse/manufacturing areas

· Ability to effectively communicate issues and concerns to team members
