Position Overview:We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Head of Finance & Accounts to lead our financial operations, strategy, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate will have over two decades of experience, including a minimum of 10 years post-qualification as a CA, preferably within the construction or real estate industry.
The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial health of the organization by driving strategic financial planning, optimizing cost structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing key insights to senior management. Proficiency in SAP ERP is a must for managing financial reporting, risk assessment, and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute a long-term financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Act as a strategic financial advisor to the board and senior management.
- Drive financial performance, profitability, and cost-efficiency.
- Establish and monitor financial KPIs, forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.
2. Accounting & Financial Management- Lead end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee MIS reporting, fund flow, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
- Implement best practices for financial governance, internal controls, and audit compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting as per regulatory requirements.
3. Taxation, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs- Ensure full compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and corporate tax regulations.
- Oversee statutory audits, tax audits, and financial reporting in accordance with Indian accounting standards.
- Establish a robust risk management framework to protect company assets and financial interests.
4. Construction & Project Finance Management- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and fund allocation for large-scale construction projects.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize project feasibility and funding.
- Manage financial structuring for real estate investments and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor cost control measures, vendor payments, and contract negotiations.
5. SAP ERP Implementation & Financial Automation- Ensure end-to-end financial process management within SAP ERP.
- Drive digital transformation by automating financial transactions, reporting, and analytics.
- Optimize SAP-based modules for budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
6. Treasury & Banking Operations- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure funding.
- Optimize loan structuring, debt financing, and treasury operations.
- Lead negotiations for project financing, capital investments, and financial risk management.
7. Risk Management & Corporate Governance- Implement robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market fluctuations and regulatory risks.
- Establish corporate governance policies for compliance, fraud prevention, and ethical business practices.
Key Competencies & Skills Required:✅ Deep understanding of Construction / Real Estate finance & taxation.
✅ Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP for financial operations & reporting.
✅ Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.).
✅ Expertise in budgeting, cost control, and financial risk assessment.
✅ Experience in project financing, fund management, and working capital optimization.
✅ Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional finance teams.
✅ Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic advisory abilities.
