The Oracle GTM Cloud Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of Oracle's Global Trade Management Cloud solution. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their trade compliance requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions within the Oracle GTM platform. The consultant will ensure successful delivery through configuration, integration, testing, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or participate in Oracle GTM Cloud implementations and upgrades.
- Configure GTM modules (trade compliance, classification, documentation, etc.) according to business needs.
- Set up product classification and restricted party screening rules.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather trade compliance requirements.
- Document business processes and map them to Oracle GTM functionalities.
- Provide recommendations on best practices and system enhancements.
- Integration and Customization:
- Integrate Oracle GTM with other ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud SCM).
- Work with technical teams to design and implement custom workflows or reports.
- Testing and Support:
- Conduct system testing (unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing).
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting.
- Project Management:
- Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage communication between stakeholders.
- Prepare status reports and documentation for clients and internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle GTM or Oracle OTM (Transportation Management).
- ERP Knowledge: Understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM modules.
- Trade Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with global trade regulations, import/export rules, and compliance requirements.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and integration tools (e.g., APIs).
- Project Management: Experience in managing or participating in full-cycle implementations.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Certifications: Oracle GTM or OTM certifications (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) .
- Experience in GTM Cloud to on-premise system integrations .
- Familiarity with EDI formats and trade documentation processes.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and Agile methodologies.
Work Environment:
- Travel to client location in Germany is must.
- Collaboration with project teams distributed across multiple time zones.
