About the Role
The Business Operations Manager is a key driver of operational efficiency within the corporate team and broader organization. This person will oversee and manage cross-functional projects and administrative tasks that directly impact the operational efficiency of the business. This role will report to the SVP of People and Admin and will partner with all leaders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Operations:
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional corporate projects.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, ensuring timely completion and effective stakeholder management.
- Develop and implement processes to streamline administrative functions and improve operational efficiency.
Administrative Support:
- Provide high-level administrative support to corporate teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with financial processes, including expense tracking, invoice processing, and budget monitoring.

People & Culture
- Collaborate with HR to manage payroll, recruiting, and the onboarding/offboarding process
- Support HR initiatives, including benefits administration, performance reviews, and employee engagement programs
- Support office operations, including space utilization, supplies management, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with the organization of cultural and social activities, including events, happy hours, offsites, etc.
Strategic Focus & Productivity
- Assist the SVP of People in driving the execution of the company’s top corporate priorities.
- Collaborate with the SVP of People to foster agile organizational practices that enhance the overall efficiency of the company.
- Assist in guiding leadership attention towards strategic and operational priorities, contributing to overall company success.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a generalist in an administrative, business operations, HR, or similar business area.
- Early stage startup experience, required.
- Strength at working cross-functionally on projects that touch multiple diverse teams, including technical teams such as product and engineering.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role is based in New York City and will be expected to work from our New York office Monday - Wednesday.
(NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $115,000.00 - 135,000.00. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
