Job Title: SVP, Go-To-Market Strategy

About The Role
BSI is seeking a Senior Vice President of Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy to lead the strategic direction and execution of our go-to-market initiatives. This high-impact role is pivotal in aligning organizational resources and capabilities to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and enhance customer acquisition.
As a key member of the leadership team, the SVP of GTM Strategy will collaborate across business functions to develop and implement innovative, data-driven market strategies that accelerate BSI’s growth. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless execution, optimizing GTM operations, and positioning BSI for long-term success.
Responsibilities
GTM Strategy Development & Leadership:
- Lead the creation and implementation of the company’s overall Go-to-Market strategy, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
- Define key market segments, target customer profiles, and competitive positioning to ensure BSI’s products and services are effectively delivered to market.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute GTM plans, ensuring consistent and unified approach across client-facing teams, marketing, divisions and customer success.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, emerging opportunities and competitive threats.
- Develop insights into customer needs, behaviors and preferences, translating them to actionable strategies to capture new revenue streams.
- Define and prioritize markets, verticals and regions for the company to target, optimizing resources to maximize ROI.
Cross-functional Collaboration And Alignment
- Work closely with the Divisions, sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of GTM strategies and smooth execution of initiatives across functions.
- Collaborate with product leadership to understand product development timelines and features, ensuring that GTM initiatives are aligned with product roadmaps.
- Partner with the sales leadership team to refine sales enablement and training programs, helping the sales team deliver consistent, impactful messaging to customers.
Revenue Growth & Sales Enablement
- Identify and drive key revenue growth initiatives, including pricing strategies, sales channels and partnership development.
- Develop sales playbooks, messaging frameworks and competitive differentiation to empower sales teams to execute on the GTM strategy effectively.
- Ensure that the GTM approach is scalable and adaptable to new markets and product launches.
Metrics & Performance Optimization
- Set KPIs and success metrics for GTM initiatives, tracking performance and continuously optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Lead the analytics team to measure market penetration, build segmentation models based on growth framework, measure sales effectiveness and overall GTM success, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Lead quarterly and annual strategic reviews to assess GTM performance and refine future strategies.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and inspire a high performing GTM strategy team, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation and results.
- Provide coaching, mentorship and guidance to team members to foster their professional growth and achieve functional and organizational goals.
- Drive a results-oriented mindset within the GTM team, ensuring accountability and focus on achieving revenue and growth targets.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- 12+ years of experience in GTM strategy, sales strategy or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading GTM strategy in high-growth environments, including launching new products, expanding into new markets and driving significant revenue growth.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with executive leadership
- Strong understanding of market segmentation, competitive positioning and customer acquisition strategies.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytics skills with a data-driven approach to strategy development and execution.
- Masters degree in: Business, Marketing or related field required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
