Our Client is Looking For: CPQ Administrator & Developer
Our client, a leading provider in payment technology solutions, is seeking a CPQ Administrator & Developer to support their Quoting & Pricing application, built on Oracle CPQ. This team is responsible for maintaining accurate product and price lists by partner and customer segment, enforcing pricing rules, tracking allowable discounts, and ensuring seamless revenue calculations. Working closely with the Enterprise Product & Pricing team, they uphold compliance with revenue assurance policies and ensure that configured products align with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the Quoting & Pricing application, ensuring correct product and pricing data by partner and customer segment.
- Analyze and break down new requirements for the offshore team, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical oversight on system architecture, UI/UX, and overall application design.
- Review new development tasks and defect reports, troubleshoot issues, and assign work to offshore technical resources as needed.
- Design, develop, and test application components across local, networked, and internet-based environments.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define system requirements and enhancements.
- Participate in software design meetings, contributing technical expertise to decision-making processes.
- Develop technical specifications based on business requirements and conceptual designs.
- Maintain documentation for system installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Deliver presentations and insights to technical and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4+ years of experience in CPQ development and administration, preferably with Oracle CPQ.
- Strong experience integrating CPQ solutions with Salesforce (preferably Oracle CPQ).
- Hands-on experience integrating CPQ with DocuSign (preferably Oracle CPQ).
- 4+ years of experience working with web services, especially REST or SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with software industry standards (ISO, CMM, Six Sigma) and financial regulations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
