Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The Chief Financial Officer will direct and oversee all financial activities of the corporation, including strategic planning, risk management, direct the preparation of financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting principles, as well as the ability to provide insightful market analysis to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and government agency reporting.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- Oversees Accounting department, budget preparation, and audit functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Work with the owner of the company, and other department heads to coordinate planning, develop budget, monitor each department and make recommendations.
- Manage cost accounting processes to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Negotiate financial agreements and contracts.
Skills
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within finance or accounting.
- Proven expertise in strategic planning and expense management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis and business analysis.
- Strong knowledge of risk management practices and corporate accounting principles.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IAS, ASC 606, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Expertise in cost management techniques and financial report interpretation.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
