POSITION SUMMARY
The Division CFO is responsible for overseeing all financial functions of assigned subsidiary company. These functions include, but are not limited to budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, revenue collection, and financial reporting to parent company. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership, the ability to effectively communicate to both corporate finance business partners and operational business leaders, with the ability to perform with accuracy and integrity while working on tight deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
- Monthly and weekly financial reporting that highlight key business metrics and financial standing
- Support the strategic planning process, annual planning process, and forecast
- Oversee AP/AR processes including credit applications, vendor invoice submission/payment, new vendor set up, and equipment procurement
- Strategic review of customer contracts and coordination with various internal business groups to ensure compliance in areas of insurance, business licenses, and contractors licenses
- Assist senior management in developing operating budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
- Handle monthly analyses including functional spend and impact of forecasting changes
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- 8+ years of financial analysis/accounting experience (1+ years of managerial experience preferred)
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics (Masters is a plus)
- Exceptional high technical skills with a required proficiency in excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communicator
- Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
- Familiarity with NetSuite/PowerBi/Zip is a plus
- Relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
