Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations and Order Management Intern to assist in managing the lifecycle of orders and support cross-departmental coordination. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operations management and collaborate closely with sales, production, and logistics teams. Ideal candidates should be eager to learn, possess strong communication skills, and adapt well to dynamic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Management:
- Assist in tracking and managing orders from initiation to completion.
- Support in updating order priorities based on business requirements.
- Learn to calculate Estimated Readiness Dates (ERDs) considering raw material arrivals and production timelines.
- Help allocate stock to orders under supervision.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Sales team to understand order priorities and dispatch plans.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Material Management teams to track raw material delivery.
- Work with Stores and Production teams for efficient order fulfilment.
3. Data and Reporting:
- Generate basic operational and financial reports.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for process improvement.
