We are seeking a dynamic and Data driven Business Analyst to support the line of business and business operations team by providing insightful analysis to aid business decisions. This role offers a broad range of business and financial operational support to business leaders, with a primary focus on cost performance analysis, financial performance tracking, and key initiatives.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Prepare Business/Finance Review Reports: Compile and build comprehensive review packs and reports for weekly and monthly business and finance reviews.

Assist with Data Collection and Analysis: Support the line of business and business operations team by gathering and analysing data.

Prepare Analytics and Trend Reports: Conduct cost performance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement and compile these insights into comprehensive reports.

Support Business Initiatives: Provide data-driven insights to support key business initiatives.

Participate in forecast planning/reviews, supporting Line of Business Head with input/analysis/actions.

Analyze and report on forecast vs actuals, including bridging and reporting.

Support month end and quarter end closing processes.

Rated Services; collaborate with the business to support the creation of new Service Definition Documents and Cost Model builds; prepare monthly reporting/analysis on service performance; preparation and execution of year end roll over

Take a proactive role in investigating questions and queries, ensuring thorough and timely resolution.

Document and maintain process and training content of when required.

Perform other appropriate tasks as directed by the functional manager.
Requirements:
Mandatory Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in a similar role or internship
- Knowledge of business operations and financial principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g. Excel, SQL)
