Head of Go-to-Market (GTM)
About the Role
WiseLayer is seeking a Head of GTM to join our Sales & Marketing Team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role presents a unique opportunity to reimagine traditional SaaS practices—sales development, demand generation, and account-based marketing—through a first principles approach.
As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for capturing demand and converting it into qualified pipeline for the sales team. We're looking for a deep subject matter expert who can implement organization-wide GTM & pipeline generation strategies leveraging AI, with the goal of significantly reducing personnel spend and customer acquisition costs.

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative GTM & pipeline strategies
- Working directly with founders to shape the future of our go-to-market approach
- Building scalable processes from the ground up

Core Responsibilities
Pipeline Development & Management
- Systematically process and nurture inbound leads to ensure maximum conversion
- Develop and execute robust outbound prospecting processes
- Identify and target best-fit accounts through omni-channel outreach
- Implement and optimize lead nurture strategies to educate prospects about our solution
Strategic GTM Initiatives
- Execute account-based campaigns in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Design and run targeted sales plays including competitive takeouts and referral drives
- Partner with Product team to develop and implement new WiseLayer Workflows
- Serve as the pipeline generation subject matter expert in strategic deals
Market Presence & Thought Leadership
- Build WiseLayer's presence in the market through strategic content and engagement
- Potential participation in speaking engagements (podcasts, webinars, events)
- Demonstrate internal use cases to showcase pipeline generation capabilities
- Partner with founders on external evangelism initiatives
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 3+ years in top of funnel roles (GTM, SDR, demand generation, account-based marketing)
- Expert knowledge of the common GTM technology tools (CRM Systems, Data Enrichment Tools, Pipeline Management, Marketing Automation, Sales Intelligence & Enablement)
- Strong strategic marketing skills with ability to develop structured commercial strategies
- Experience building and executing asset playbooks

Location:
- Ideally, we are seeking someone who is able to come to our offices in NYC 4 days per week (Mon-Thus: in-office / Fri: work from home), as this is the arrangement for our current team. We believe that a highly-driven in-person team who can easily collaborate and move quickly will ultimately develop the best possible product. That said, our flexible work environment supports remote work for all team members whenever needed. Also, we are open to discussing alternative arrangements for the right candidate.
