Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and administer the base business plan supporting all the pilots based at the location. This position provides high level administrative oversight for the Support Representatives and Staff Representatives ensuring all administration functions relating to a pilot’s license, medical, training, etc. are actioned timely with other assigned task given. The position is responsible for the overall coordination, planning and implementation process for all staffing needs, budgeting (forecasting and reconciliation), capital planning and related expenditures, and facilities management and equipment infrastructure in the pilot base. This manager will be the primary contact for the implementation of flight operation initiatives and work in unison with other Base Business Managers to ensure continuity as it relates to policies, procedures and other senior leadership directives given.
- Oversight of all base expenditures relating to financial and operational performance, in accordance with current Flight Operations Business Plan
- Demonstrate comprehension of pilot CBA, including disciplinary process, EAP, grievances, medical, currency / training requirements and FFDO procedures
- Interacts with other Business Managers to ensure policies, systems and business procedures are consistent and cost effective throughout the system
- Supervisory administrative support for the Chief Pilot, Asst. Chief Pilots, and other base pilot management staff
- Oversight and manage all administration process work for the pilot group
- Works closely with United Medical and EAP to ensure proper protocols are followed
- Acts as point of contact for Regional Airport Managers within the designated area of operations
- Supports and implements divisional goals and Hub shared goals
- Works with Hub Manager and provides leadership to the pilot group on initiatives designed to improve the efficiency of the station’s operation
- All performance management for base staff: including performance reviews, administering disciplinary process, PIP, coaching, and terminations
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of supervising salaried and management employees
- Strong working knowledge of current CBA
- Budget planning and implementation
- Project management
- Performance management
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

The base pay range for this role is $92,245.00 to $125,730.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
