WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Sales Operations, Sales Administrator, you will assist the sales team by managing documentation, processing business start-ups, and coordinating inquiries to streamline operations. Your role involves executing sales strategies, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving efficiency. Job duties include:
CRM Management:
- Maintain and optimize the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure accurate customer data entry, prospect tracking, and pipeline management.
- Ensure the sales team consistently uses the CRM for opportunity tracking and generate reports for performance reviews.
Sales Process Support:
- Monitor and enhance sales workflows to improve efficiency.
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
- Become an expert on sales related needs while ensuring you are the go-to resource.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to best practices in prospect qualification, opportunity management, and closing processes.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Evaluate data to provide insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and team performance
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide the sales team with deep insights and a comprehensive understanding of the business, enabling them to make informed decisions, drive success, and increase revenue.
Lead and Opportunity Management:
- Manage the assignment and distribution of prospects within the CRM system.
- Track and monitor opportunities to ensure no lead falls through the cracks and follow up with the sales team on outstanding tasks.
Sales Documentation & Contracts:
- Create, manage, and organize all sales-related documents, including contracts, agreements, and proposals.
- Ensure these documents are easily accessible through CRM and other systems.
Collaboration Across Departments:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment on CRM strategies, sales initiatives, and customer experience improvements.
Other duties as assigned.
YOUR MUST HAVES:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree ("GED")
- 4 or more years of experience in sales administration, sales operations, or a related role, with a capable focus on operational and sales processes.
- Experience working cross-functionally as an operational expert, advocating for process optimization and change as needed.
- capable analytical and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges quickly and efficiently.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and experienced with sales management tools and reporting functions.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights from reports.
- Comfortable working with various reporting tools to include Salesforce and Origami.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and best practices.
- Ability to recommend, persuade, and implement improvements, ensuring adherence to procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in facilitating communication and collaboration between sales, marketing, and other departments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous and proven experience optimizing sales processes and workflows.
- Experience in supporting sales-driven, fast paced, B2B environments.
OUR ENVIRONMENT:
This is a hybrid role, partially based at the Corporate Headquarters, combining time in a traditional office setting with remote work from your professional home office. You will be expected to work on-site at minimum three days a week. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
