Products & Services: Drone Manufacturing, Specialized Project Management, Pilot Deployment Services for Agriculture Spraying & Seeding with AI Based Data Driven technology and also preparing Medical Drone Delivery system in European & American Market.
We are looking for a CFO – Chief Finance Officer who can lead will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with company executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations.
This role comes with Core Team equity & investment participation between ₹1.5CR – ₹3.5CR.

What are Roles & Responsibilities?
- Co-Founder & Managing Partner has to build Partnerships & Collaboration in the market with Potential Startups across multiple Industries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the US region.
- Has to Source & build a relationship with Startup Founders.
- Has to make a proper strategy for sourcing the new deals, Organising the Cohort events for Startup and Startup Analysis.
- Has to make the Strategy to approach Potential Startups on building partnerships & Collaborations.
- Has to make a proper discussion and work closely with them on closing startup deals.
- Handle the team with proper planning and manage the paper works on signing MOU, NDA, and Deals with Startup Founders.
Strategy, Planning and Management
- As Chief Financial Officer and strategic business partner to the senior executive leadership team.
- Assess and evaluate financial performance of an organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plans of the organization.
- Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.
- Evaluate departments and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.
- Communicate, engage and interact with the Board of Directors, CEO, COO and Executive Leadership Team.
- Create and establish yearly financial objectives that align with the company's plan for growth and expansion.
- Select and engage consultants, auditors and investors.
- Recruit, interview and hire finance, accounting and payroll staff as required.
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and round table discussion panel.
- Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
- Interact with and bring the department into line with the Board of Directors' plans, initiatives and recommendations.
- Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team.
Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Prepare and present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss by division, forecast vs. budget by division and weekly cash flow by division.
- Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
- Manage financial planning and analysis department. Supervise creation of reports, software implementation and tools for budgeting and forecasting.
- Participate in parodic conference calls with Lenders, Vendors and Executive Leadership Team.
Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations
- Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software.
- Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff.
- Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial procedures.
- Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance.
- Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies
- Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.
Financial Management
- Manage cash flow planning process and ensure funds availability.
- Oversee cash, investments and asset management area.
- Explore new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks.
- Maintain outstanding banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
- Utilize forward-looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization's plans and operating budgets. Financial Relations and Policies
- Engage finance committee and/or board of directors to develop short term and long term plans, projections and budgets.
- Represent the company to banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors and officials. Finance and Accounting Team Management
- Mentor and develop a team of senior managers and/or directors, managing work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and the building of an effective and efficient team dynamic.
- Guide larger, cross-divisional teams outside of direct span of control within the main company divisions.
Cash Management
- Oversee weekly cash management approve relevant payables.
- Supervise Accounts Receivable management and provide guidance relating to the collection process

- Should be an Expert in handling Startup-Relations.
- Should be a quick decision-maker and have great market analysis skills.
- Should have excellent knowledge about the market.
- Should be an expert in Financial Modeling.
- At least having experience in the investment industry ( Min 8+ years).

- Should have great team-handling skills.
- should have CFA(I, II & III Level), MBA from Tier I, II & III Colleges. Min Qualification Should be a Bachelor's Degree with Investment Corporate experience of more than 5+ Years.

Cash Salary details
- The quoted salary figure is after ~9 months after the VC round. Expected salaries for the next few months
- Up-to 3 months: Nil - candidates may be non-full-time till this period (i.e. till the Angel round)
- 3-9 months: INR up to 36 lakh per annum
- After 9 months: INR up to 60 lakh per annum (VC funding expected at this point)
- Candidate will have to be full time after the angel round
