Job Summary
The Director of Revenue Operations will be a strategic leader responsible for optimizing Mad Mobile’s revenue generation processes within the Restaurant division. Reporting to the EVP & General Manager, Restaurant, this role will focus on aligning and enhancing revenue-related workflows by collaborating closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, customer success, onboarding, product, and finance teams. The Director will serve as a critical partner to these groups, driving efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making for restaurant solutions, including the CAKE product. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with deep expertise in revenue operations, a passion for process optimization, and experience in the restaurant or technology sector.
Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Tampa, FL. This is an in-office role.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Process Optimization: Design and implement streamlined processes to align sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams, enhancing lead-to-close efficiency and revenue scalability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, customer success, product, and finance leaders to align strategies, ensuring seamless coordination across revenue-generating functions.
- Data & Analytics: Oversee revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and KPI reporting using tools like Salesforce or Tableau, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
- Technology & Systems Management: Optimize the revenue tech stack (e.g., CRM, billing systems) to support integration and scalability, collaborating with IT and product teams to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small revenue operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Sales Enablement: Support sales teams with tools, processes, and insights to improve pipeline velocity and deal closure rates, without directly managing sales.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Work with marketing and product teams to analyze restaurant industry trends and competitors (e.g., Toast, TouchBistro), informing pricing and go-to-market strategies.
- Compliance & Efficiency: Ensure revenue processes comply with industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS) and support Mad Mobile’s growth objectives in the restaurant sector.
- Knowledge Transfer Support: Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate knowledge transfer from the closing Sri Lanka office to US-based teams, ensuring operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position. Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and customer success teams in the restaurant technology or SaaS industry is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel), and revenue management systems. Familiarity with AI-driven tools is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead small, high-performing teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis and forecasting skills, with a track record of driving revenue efficiency through process improvements.
- Restaurant Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with restaurant sales cycles or software solutions (e.g., POS systems like CAKE) is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills to build trust and alignment with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
